Car Hire Agadir to Dakhla – Epic N1 Road Trip Through the Atlantic Sahara

The Agadir–Dakhla road trip is one of the most epic drives on the African continent: 1,200 kilometres of N1 highway hugging the Atlantic coast, crossing the Moroccan Sahara between sand dunes, fishing villages and military checkpoints. For this adventure, Agadir Car Hire strongly recommends a 4x4 or SUV — ideally a Dacia Duster — for its robustness, ground clearance and spacious boot for kitesurfing gear or camping equipment.

Allow 2–3 days of driving from Agadir: one overnight stop in Guelmim or Tan-Tan, another in Laâyoune, then the final leg into Dakhla and its turquoise lagoon. Our vehicles are fully insured across all of Morocco including the Southern Provinces. Unlimited mileage is included — you only pay for fuel.
